Zenzele has more than 20 year of experience in the Public Practice Environment. He has an extensive knowledge in the public sector environment having worked for the Provincial Administration for more than 11 years. His executive experience in the public sector includes amongst other things being responsible for the finance management of various Provincial Departments and Public Entities as a Chief Financial Officer. He was the sole partner at Mzimela and Company, a firm of accountants and auditors he established in 2002. He has been a director to several companies including the current firm Khothi Accountants and Auditors.
He is a SAICA accredited training officer and a registered auditor. Zenzele has an extensive experience in Financial Management and assurance services. He specialized in financial management and reporting, assurance and forensic investigations. He is regarded as a specialist in the IFRS and taxation. He has an extensive knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, having worked as the commissioner’s office as a field audit specialist and as an assessor expert member of the accounting profession at the Tax Court for many years. He has a particular interest in corporate governance issues and his experience has been utilised by a number of KZN Municipalities as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee. He is currently serving as a member of the Finance Committee of KZN Cricket Union. He is currently studying towards the Master’s Degree in Accountancy, is finalising investigation report on the Revaluation of fixed assets and firm performance in the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
